Your adventure begins from the moment you touch down at Entebbe International Airport, where you will receive a warm and friendly welcome from your Rwenzori Safaris Africa guide. After a short briefing, embark on a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside to Lake Mburo National Park, a hidden gem located just four to five hours away. Along the way, a must stop over at the equator for unforgettable photos and fascinating demonstrations of the equators clockwise and anti-clockwise magnetic pulls. Once at the National Park, you will have accommodation options ranging from luxury to budget to choose from. Then immediately you will be checked into the lodge of your choice to relax and freshen up before your first adventure on the itinerary: an evening game drive where you’ll spot zebras, impalas, and herds of buffalo against the backdrop of Uganda’s golden savannah.
